We have recreational classes for all ages and skill levels. Check our current class schedule for days/times!

PRESCHOOL AGE

 

Parent & Tot – Ages walking to 3 years. Parent Participation Required.

An adult accompanies the child while they are in the gym.  Your child will work on forward, backward rolls, and be introduced to cartwheels.  They will learn various jumps on the floor and the trampoline and will also work on their walks on the balance beam and swinging and supports on the bars. This is a great class for you and your child to meet new friends and bond with each other.  The children will learn how to work well with others and improve their fine and gross motor skills, including hand-eye coordination while learning gymnastics.

These classes will take place in the “Little Gym” where all equipment is smaller to suit your child’s needs. Classes meet for 30 minutes each week.

 

Tumble Tots – Ages 3-4. No parent participation.

Your little one will develop independence while participating in games, songs, running, jumping, increasing hand-eye coordination, and even working on many kindergarten-readiness skills. Your child will also learn a variety of developmentally appropriate gymnastics skills in a safe, kid-friendly, environment.

These classes will take place in the “Little Gym” near the parent observation area where all equipment is smaller to suit your child’s needs. Classes meet for 30 minutes each week.

 

KINDERGYM (KG) – Ages 4-7

 

KG Level 1

Cartwheels, forward & backward rolls, donkey kicks, and bridges are some of the fun, basic gymnastics skills that will be taught in KinderGym.  Skills on the bars, beam, and vault will also be introduced. Your child will  learn a variety of developmentally appropriate gymnastics skills in a safe, kid-friendly, environment.

These classes will take place in the “Little Gym” near the parent observation area where all equipment is smaller to suit your child’s needs. Classes meet for 45 minutes each week.

 

KG Level 2

Gymnasts who have mastered the basics will move on to Level 2 to further their gymnastics abilities.

These classes will take place in the “Little Gym” near the parent observation area where all equipment is smaller to suit your child’s needs. Classes meet for 45 minutes each week.

 

FLEX REC (FR) – Ages 7+

ALSO KNOWN AS RECREATIONAL (NON-COMPETITIVE) GYMNASTICS

 

FR Level 1

Your child will  learn a variety of developmentally appropriate gymnastics skills in a safe, kid-friendly, environment. Classes meet for 55 minutes each week.

 

FR Level 2

Young gymnasts will work on slightly more advanced skills.  A cartwheel, backward roll, a bridge with straight arms, and a pullover on the bar are skills that are required before joining Level 2. Classes meet for 55 minutes each week.

 

FR Level 3

Young gymnasts will work on advancing their skills. Instructor Recommended Only. To test into this class, please call or email us to set up an appointment. Classes meet for 85 minutes each week.

 

FR Level 4

Advanced level gymnasts will work on all four events. Instructor Recommended Only. To test into this class, please call or email us to set up an appointment. Classes meet for 85 minutes each week.

 

FR Level 5

Advanced level gymnasts will work on all four events. Instructor Recommended Only. To test into this class, please call or email us to set up an appointment. Classes meet for 120 minutes each week.

TRAMPOLINE & TUMBLING (TnT) – Ages 7+

 

TnT Level 1

This class will work on skills on the floor, on mats, and on the TumblTrak (40 foot long trampoline). We will not use the bars, beams, or vault in this class.

Cartwheels, forward & backward rolls, donkey kicks, handstands, bridges, kickovers, round-offs, and backbends are some of the fun, basic tumbling skills that your child will learn. Your child will  learn a variety of developmentally appropriate tumbling skills in a safe, kid-friendly, environment. Classes meet for 55 minutes each week. This class is perfect for gymnasts who do not enjoy the bars or the beams. It is also great for dancers and cheerleaders to learn basic tumbling.

 

TnT Level 2

This class will work on skills on the floor, on mats, and on the TumblTrak (40 foot long trampoline). We will not use the bars, beams, or vault in this class.

Athletes will work on front & back walkovers, front & back handsprings, balancing in a handstand, aerials, dive rolls, presses, pirouetttes, and round-off back handsprings. Athletes must have passed FR Level 3 or have been instructor recommended before joining this class. Classes meet for 55 minutes each week. This class is perfect for gymnasts who do not enjoy the bars or the beams. It is also great for dancers and cheerleaders to work on their tumbling.

 

NINJA STYLE CLASSES – Ages 4-11

 

FleX-MEN

BOYS Ages 4-7

In our Mighty Fle-X Men program we believe that every child can develop a positive attitude towards physical fitness. Every Fle-X Man learns at his own rate without the peer pressure that is often involved with many other team sports. We create a learning environment where the use of encouragement and positive reinforcement helps boys overcome their fears, building confidence, character, and self-esteem. We believe that learning should be fun and rewarding and we gauge this by the smiles on their faces. We want boys to experience the satisfaction that comes with facing new challenges head-on and the joy one feels when they reach their goal! This class meets for 45 minutes each week.

*Boys younger than 4 are encouraged to enroll in our Preschool classes which are co-ed.

 

BOYS Ages 8-11

We believe that learning should be fun and rewarding and we gauge this by the smiles on their faces. We want girls to experience the satisfaction that comes with facing new challenges head-on and the joy one feels when they reach their goal! This class meets for 55 minutes each week.
